A booking service for groups who want to travel together
Group Transport arranges minibus rental, Sprinter vans with drivers, party buses and larger coaches in 20 US cities, working through licensed, insured partner operators. We handle the booking; the operator handles the driving.
What we do, and what the operator does
When a group travels together, one person usually ends up doing the logistics: counting heads, chasing flight times, working out whether everyone fits. That is who we work for. You tell us the plan, we find an operator in the right city with a suitable vehicle, and we put the whole trip into one quote.
We don't own buses or vans and we don't employ drivers. The partner operator owns the vehicle, employs the driver and is the carrier on the day. We keep that distinction clear because the operator's terms, including cancellation for that vehicle, are written on the quote you accept.
Why we ask so many questions about your day
A full-size coach cannot turn into every hotel driveway, a Sprinter's luggage space depends on its wheelbase, and a party bus in Nashville falls under local rules on open alcohol. The details you give us decide which vehicle makes sense, so we ask about bags, stops, waiting time and exact addresses before we quote.
We also fold in what we know about each place: airports that let only permitted operators pick up, cruise ports that require port permits, downtown streets where buses cannot stop. Those notes sit on each city, airport and port page, so you can read them too.
Checking the operator for yourself
Regulated buses carry the carrier's name and USDOT number on both sides. If you'd like to look an operator up before you travel, ask us for their USDOT number and search it in FMCSA's Bus Safety Search to see any out-of-service orders alongside the carrier's safety history. It is a sensible check for any school group or wedding planner.
What you won't find on this site
There are no star ratings, trip counts or headline prices here. The price depends on your date, hours, distance and vehicle, so a number on a web page would only mislead you. Ask for a quote and you'll see the real figure for your real trip.
Questions
Who is responsible for the vehicle on the day?
The partner operator. They own the vehicle, employ the driver and hold the operating authority. We arrange the booking and remain your contact for changes to it.
Which cities do you book in?
Twenty US metro areas, from New York City and Washington, DC out west to Seattle, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. On each city page you'll find the airports, the venues and local rules that apply to group vehicles.
Do you only book full-day rentals?
No. A single airport run, a few hours for a night out and a multi-day conference shuttle all go through the same quote process.
Plan your group's ride with us
Tell us the date, the headcount and where everyone needs to be. We'll match the trip to an operator and send you one quote, with nothing charged until you accept.
