Minibus rental in Denver for Red Rocks, the mountains and DEN

Denver weekends tend to run in two directions: into the city for games and concerts, and up into the mountains for everything else. A minibus rental or a Sprinter van with a driver lets your group do both, and nobody has to drive a mountain road after a long day.

Red Rocks nights with the whole group

Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre is in Morrison, southwest of the city, and it is one of the best reasons to book a party bus or minibus in Denver. Buses use Lower South Lot 2 for drop-off, pickup and parking alike. The Upper North Lot can be reserved by vehicles with at least 24 seats that are no less than 85 percent full, but the request has to go in 48 hours ahead, so decide early whether your group qualifies.

Leaving takes patience, so share the vehicle description in the group chat before you walk up.

Denver International is further out than most airports

Downtown is about 25 miles from DEN, or 30 to 50 minutes on a normal day. Chauffeured pickups meet at the limo booth on Level 5 of the Jeppesen Terminal, Island 2. Ski groups should mention skis and boards up front, because cargo space behind the last row varies by van length.

Boulder, Georgetown, Estes Park and Breckenridge day trips

Boulder is about 28 miles away and Georgetown about 45, so either makes an easy half day. Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park are about 65 miles out, and Breckenridge about 80. In 2026, timed entry at the park runs May 22 through October 12, and until October 18 for Bear Lake Road. Commercial tours run by holders of a Commercial Use Authorization do not need a timed-entry reservation, so ask us whether the operator holds one before you plan the day.

In winter, leave extra time for the mountain drive and treat the return time as an estimate.

Rockies, Broncos, Nuggets and Avalanche game days

Coors Field is in LoDo, close to many downtown hotels, and Ball Arena and Empower Field at Mile High are a short ride away. A Sprinter van or party bus rental suits a birthday or team outing to a game, with the driver meeting you away from the busiest gate. For a Rapids match, Dick's Sporting Goods Park is out in Commerce City, so keep the vehicle for the evening.

Questions

Is our minibus allowed in the Red Rocks Upper North Lot?

Only when it has 24 or more seats, is 85 percent full or more, and the space is reserved 48 hours ahead. Otherwise buses use Lower South Lot 2.

Do we need a timed-entry permit for Rocky Mountain National Park?

Not if the trip runs as a commercial tour under an operator holding a Commercial Use Authorization. If it does not, plan around the timed-entry season. We confirm which applies before you book.

Where will our driver be waiting at DEN?

At the Jeppesen Terminal's limo booth, on Island 2 of Level 5. Send your flight number so the pickup matches your real arrival.
