Nashville takes its party vehicles seriously. The Metro Transportation Licensing Commission regulates transportainment vehicles, and since December 1, 2021, open alcohol has not been allowed on any unenclosed party vehicle in the county. If drinks on board matter to your group, ask for an enclosed party bus or Sprinter limo, and check the operator's policy when you book.

Downtown is only about 9 miles from Nashville International, so the first ride is short. Friends flying in from different cities tend to land hours apart; send every flight number and decide whether one vehicle waits or makes two trips.

The Opry, the Ryman and Music Row

The Grand Ole Opry and the Ryman Auditorium are in different parts of town: the Opry House is out in Music Valley, the Ryman downtown. A group staying on Broadway for an Opry show needs a return ride booked, not just a drop-off. The Country Music Hall of Fame and the Johnny Cash Museum are both downtown and easy to pair in one afternoon.

Game days, concerts and day trips

Bridgestone Arena sits on Broadway, GEODIS Park at the Fairgrounds and Nissan Stadium is home to the Titans. Set a pickup point before the show or game, since leaving downtown afterward is slow.

Franklin is a half-hour hop for a quieter day. The Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg is about an hour and a half away, and a driver who stays sober while you tour is the whole point. Mammoth Cave is about two hours or a little more.

Are we allowed to drink on a Nashville party bus?

Is a Sprinter limo or a party bus better for a bachelorette group?

Up to 14, a Sprinter limo is easier to get to a Broadway curb. Bigger groups need a party bus to stay together.
