Party bus rental for birthdays, bachelor parties and big nights out
The best nights out keep everyone together, from the first pickup to the last drop-off. A party bus rental does that, with a driver who knows the plan and nobody arguing over who stays sober.
Picking a party bus for your group
Party buses come in many builds, from Sprinter limo vans carrying up to 14 people to larger buses for bigger crowds. Most have perimeter limo-style seating, LED lighting and a strong sound system. What they lack is luggage space, so if your group is coming straight from the airport, book a Sprinter to the hotel first and the party bus for the evening.
A party bus built for 16 or more people, the driver included, must be driven by someone with a CDL passenger endorsement. The operator on your quote handles that; you just need to give an honest headcount.
What the rules require
- For-hire vehicles designed for 9-15 occupants are CMVs in interstate commerce.
- Drivers may not use alcohol within 4 hours before driving a CMV.
Drinks on board: what the rules say
Open-container rules for passengers vary. Under federal rules, a state may exempt passengers in for-hire vehicles from its open-container ban. That exemption never extends to the driver, who may not hold open alcohol, and no driver may use alcohol in the 4 hours before driving. Since December 2021, Nashville has not allowed open alcohol on unenclosed party vehicles. Ask us about the rules for your city before you plan the drinks.
Planning the route and the stops
Give us every pickup address, the stops you want, and a realistic end time. More stops and longer waits mean more hours, and hours shape the quote. Agree a meeting time at each stop, and choose one person to talk to the driver so the plan does not change every ten minutes.
Questions
What size of group fits on a party bus?
It depends on the build. Sprinter limo vans carry up to 14; larger party buses carry more. Tell us your headcount and we will match a vehicle.
Can we drink on the party bus?
It depends on the state and city. The driver may never hold open alcohol, and in Nashville it is banned outright on unenclosed party vehicles.
Can the party bus pick us up from the airport?
It can, but party buses have minimal luggage space. Many groups book a Sprinter to the hotel and the party bus for the night out.
