Dallas-Fort Worth minibus rental and Sprinter vans with a driver

Dallas and Fort Worth feel like one place until your group tries to get between them. A Dallas-Fort Worth minibus rental or a Sprinter van with a driver makes the distance part of the trip rather than a problem.

DFW or Love Field

Downtown Dallas is about 20 miles from DFW, which has five terminals. Each terminal's lower-level curbside is where charter buses pick up, while ride apps use the upper level, so your group heads downstairs, not up. Ground operators need permits from DFW itself, for the company, the driver and the vehicle.

At about 7 miles from downtown, Dallas Love Field can be the easier arrival for an Uptown or Victory Park hotel. Tell us both airports if your group is split.

Two downtowns and the stretch between

A group staying in Downtown Dallas and spending an evening at Sundance Square in Fort Worth is looking at a real drive each way. From Dallas to the Fort Worth Stockyards is about 37 miles, with the cattle drive running twice a day, weather permitting. Book the vehicle for the evening rather than two transfers, so nobody is stuck waiting for a ride back.

Game days in Arlington

Buses at AT&T Stadium park in one section of Lot 15, and each needs a bus pass arranged ahead of time. Globe Life Field is also in Arlington. A party bus to a Cowboys or Rangers game turns the drive into part of the day; just agree where to meet afterward, because the lots empty all at once.

Dealey Plaza and convention days

The Sixth Floor Museum doesn't allow buses or oversized vehicles in its lots, so plan a drop-off and a set return time. The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center is being rebuilt: Halls D through F are under demolition, and events are held in Halls A to C. Ask your event which entrance to use.

For longer days, Waco is about two hours away and Austin three and a half to four, which is a long round trip for one day.
