Group Transport

Party bus and minibus rental in Austin

Austin weekends are made for groups: bachelorette parties on Rainey Street, friends in for a Longhorns game, teams arriving for a conference. A minibus rental, party bus or Sprinter van with a driver keeps everyone together, and nobody gets stuck as the designated driver.

Bachelorette weekends on Rainey Street and Sixth Street

Rainey Street and Sixth Street are both close to downtown hotels, which is why a party bus rental works so well here: the group rides together, the driver waits nearby, and everyone gets home at the end. Share every address up front, including a rental house in East Austin or South Congress, and agree on one pickup point for the ride back.

Longhorns games, Austin FC and race weekend

Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium and the Moody Center draw big crowds, and so does Q2 Stadium for Austin FC. Circuit of The Americas is home to the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix. On those days, book early and allow extra time. A Sprinter van or minibus with a driver gets the group there together, and you meet the driver at an agreed spot afterward.

Conferences while the Austin Convention Center is rebuilt

Rebuilding has kept the Austin Convention Center closed since April 2025, and the work is expected to finish in 2028. Meanwhile the Palmer Events Center on Barton Springs Road is open, and the convention center's garages are still operating, one at 201 E 2nd St and the other at 601 E 5th St.

A conference team whose sessions and dinners are spread across town can use a minibus or Sprinter van on a set loop to keep people moving. For festival week, see our SXSW page.

Capitol tours, the bats and Hill Country day trips

Groups of more than 10 must reserve a Texas State Capitol tour, and visitor services arranges bus drop-off and parking, so call ahead. The Congress Avenue Bridge bats fly at dusk from spring through early fall, a lovely end to a family day.

Lockhart is about 29 miles away, New Braunfels about 48, Fredericksburg about 78 and San Antonio about 80. For a Hill Country winery day, a Sprinter van rental with a driver means everyone can enjoy the tastings.
