Port Canaveral shuttle service for cruise groups
Starting a cruise with the whole family or wedding party in one vehicle takes a lot of worry out of the day. A shuttle service from Orlando to Port Canaveral by minibus or Sprinter van gets everyone, and every suitcase, to the ship together.
From MCO or an Orlando hotel to the ship
Orlando International is about 45 miles from the port, usually 45 to 60 minutes along SR 528 East. For the north terminals the driver uses Exit 54A, and for the south ones 54B, so tell us your ship and terminal when you book.
Many groups spend a night or two near the parks first. The hotel pickup, the port run and the airport ride after the cruise can all be planned together, each with its own quote.

Port permits, and why a walk-up ride is hard to find
Every commercial vehicle serving the port must hold a permit from the Canaveral Port Authority, fares must be pre-arranged and prepaid, and the operator has to carry the port's required liability insurance. That is why you cannot count on finding a group vehicle at the terminal. We book only operators who hold the permit, and the quote is settled well before sailing day.
Luggage, timing and the 15-minute loading zone
Terminal loading zones are limited to 15 minutes. Terminal 1 has a meet-and-greet area, as do Terminals 3, 5, 6, 8 and 10. Tag bags with the cruise line's luggage tags before the vehicle arrives so the drop-off goes quickly.
Count the big suitcases before you book. Sprinter van cargo space depends on the wheelbase and minibus luggage space depends on the floor plan, so the suitcase count often decides the vehicle more than the headcount.
Questions
How long is the drive from Orlando airport to Port Canaveral?
About 45 to 60 minutes for roughly 45 miles, longer at busy times. Leave MCO with plenty of room before your boarding window.
Can the driver wait while we check in?
No. Loading zones allow 15 minutes, so the driver drops you and moves on. On the way home, the pickup is set at a meet-and-greet area.
Can we stop somewhere between the port and the airport after the cruise?
Yes, if you tell us in advance. A stop adds time and changes the quote, and the driver needs to know before the day.
